cp pistons finishing fault

ready for fitment

end ring gap also important coz the rate of expansion for aluminum pistons are more higher than cast. and this is to allow relief stress.

take a look very closely to the edge of the valve pocket. its very2 sharp. this may leads to hot spot and detonation. so what i did was failing that area.

  3. First off great job on d write up bro,
my opinion u should had bought the b18a ones -comes wit 21mm pin, stronger. Few users from Honda-tech did complain dat even the 21mm pins got bent once 500-600 Whp (9k-10k redline) For reliability sake.. Keep ur Rotating/centrifugal stress low. Keep d revs to max of 8k-8500. But wit ur 280° cams, ur powerband would be higher up. Anyways gud luck..

  5. yes bro u r right.. i also wanna have 21mm pin earlier.but due to some reasons. i have to take 19mm pin. it was to match con rod pin size coz that time there was no stock 21 pin rod for gsr available. few supplier run out stock at that moment of time..21 pin broke at 500hp that depands on how they do it in overall circumstances..with this pin i belief it can go higher than that.plus reliability sake..
i choose 19mm pin coz i will not go further than 500whp or more than 8k rpm even my turbo full boost required for it. reason is very simple, coz i have no interest of using billet oil pumps at this moment. that is why i still use non modified crank shaft..
