performance parts (hmmm..)


engine damper..this thing just bought coz somebody sell it very cheap..absorb vibration and reduce mounting wear..

induction system i excluded the turbo coz it can be viewed at exhaust performance parts..here is a custom intake magnifold and it is designed by my brother 'yem'..how ever it is a prototype part and we dun no how it performance..we were just custom it n try to do our best for it

TDO5 16G big from VR4RS twin blade..just made a reserch it is same turbo for evo 1&2 cfm 505 1.89" compressor inducer and 2.68 exducer..turbine trim is 50 and 2.2 in of it exducer.. code no: 420


at the moment i just used thai waste gate or known as ayam cap waste gate..it 38mm and tested that it has 1 bar spring rate..which the valve open at 1 bar...

performance parts (cam)


aerospeed adjustable cam pulley...at first i bought this second hand for rm250.at the end i found that the color was really dull and also not equipped with spring wahser on the adjusting bolt..then i sell off that one and bought brand new P2R adjustable cam pulley purple in color and have a spring wahsers at all adjusting bolts, it will give more reliability and security of the pulley..

another view...intake and exhaust camshaft were wrapped to prevent from corrossion..hydraulic lifter also require to be bleeded so then all containminated engine oil removed..all parts were cleaned with diesel fuel before installation..



O-ring for cam angle sensor renewed and camshaft holder including attachment bolt also cleaned

i choose ACL thrust wahser




ACL Aluglide main bearing






KING connecting rod bearing CA 18..for high boost and realibility..another reason is only this brand available for CA18 con rod..plus i must used this bearing due to different key compare to 4G93 bearing..so no choice





Nissan CA18 DET connecting rod..different between this rod with 4G93 will be explained in later post..






81mm 4AGZE toyota supercharger piston with seramic coating on top..compression ratio is 8.0:1 on 4AGZE engine..brand ART semi forged as claimed by toyota factory..how ever there is some rumor saying that it is not forged material..what ever it is i have to used it n test to the max..diff beteen CA18 and 4G93t piston will be posted later..








RIK made in japan piston ring....




sowa 1.5mm metak gasket made in japan..u can see the different where there is glue coating in black color around the gasket..it will give batter contact with cylinder head and block..

walbro fuel pump


walbro 255 lph fuel pump
before installation , walbro is a bit longger in lenght..the has been tested n satisfied


i cut off the pressure line to fit walbro outlet port which is was 7mm diameter.see above picture before i cut the pipe..

all this took me 2 months to finish it...damn...

cylinder head was skimmed up to 2 micron only..just enough to get the mating surface flat and level..job done by using the stone grainding bit and not high speed steel or carbite or wat so ever..



clean is first priority...huhx.. 4 5 kali basuh chemical whooo..2 3 kali basuh ngan minyak tanah..

port and polish part2


here is the second part after porting..the process of smoothen the surface was really2 slow..
i just polish by using sand paper in variaty of gritt..it took me 4 week to make this two hole dude..but the end part was really satisfied..take a look and compare my polish...heee


above is picture on larging the combustion area to get a lower static compression.then i can
boost up a little bit higher..but disadvantage of doing this is that, i can't estimate how much the compression ratio would it be..portting off an exhaust hole up to the valve seat making a smooth surface area



after porting and before polishing i used a diamond file to get
good profile surface,u can see at two faded hole from left

here is the exhaust ..n this is where i start porting to make a larger and smooth surface.



the porting tool was really small and it gave me easy excess for deeper area..the size was smaller then a marker pen..not a tool that normally used by other workshops.

where did i get this thing..? haha..





process of larging the area..ensure of preset diameter in every hole..ensure of convergent n divergent flow characteristic coz here is the part where it shape would be at the end of polishing.



after porting then it go for roughfing process to cut all the higher surface to make it smooth profile..
